I'm an ENT & Head and Neck Surgeon in Kochi with a special love for treating children. I try to make every visit a calm one, listening properly, explaining in plain language, and only suggesting what I'd suggest for my own family.
Honestly, I love what I do, and I think it shows.
When I started medicine, I realised pretty quickly that this work becomes meaningful only when you can make a real difference to someone's life, no matter who they are or where they're from. Religion, background, what they earn, none of that should change how a doctor listens to you.
So that's the kind of doctor I try to be. The one who actually hears the small worries before they grow into bigger ones. The one a child isn't scared of. The one you can WhatsApp with a quick question without feeling like you're bothering anyone.
On the clinical side, I'm trained in Paediatric ENT, rhinology, allergies, otology, swallowing disorders, obstructive sleep apnoea and laryngology / airway disorders. My special interest is paediatric airway. Things like congenital subglottic stenosis, tracheomalacia, laryngomalacia, laryngeal web and tracheostomy care. I've also trained in balloon sinuplasty, robotic surgery and head & neck surgery.

- Endoscopy in the room, so you usually leave with answers, not another set of appointments.
- I'll always tell you if surgery isn't necessary. A second opinion shouldn't cost you a third.

Paediatric ENT
The usual suspects: repeated ear infections, big adenoids, tonsillitis, hearing worries, speech delay and the question every parent eventually asks: "is this normal?"
Paediatric Airway
This is what I love most. Subglottic stenosis, tracheomalacia, laryngomalacia, laryngeal web, tracheostomy care, for the tiniest patients who can't tell you what's wrong.
Endoscopy in the Clinic
Nasal endoscopy, ear endoscopy and flexible laryngoscopy, done during your visit so we can usually figure out what's going on the same day.
Sinus & Allergies
For the people who say "I just can't breathe through my nose." Chronic sinusitis, allergies, polyps, and balloon sinuplasty when medicines run out of road.
Ear & Hearing
Ear pain, glue ear, that eardrum that won't quite heal, dizziness, hearing loss, and microscopic ear surgery when it's needed.
Voice & Swallowing
Hoarse voice, vocal cord nodules, trouble swallowing, for teachers, singers, kids, and anyone whose voice has stopped feeling like their own.
Snoring & Sleep Apnoea
If your partner sleeps in another room, or your child stops breathing for a few seconds at night, it's worth a proper look. Both kids and adults welcome.
Head & Neck Surgery
Thyroid lumps, salivary gland issues, neck swellings, including endoscopic skull base and basic robotic surgery when the case calls for it.
Second Opinions
Been told you (or your child) need surgery and not sure? Bring the reports. I'll go through them with you, honestly. Sometimes the answer is "wait."

Three years of postgraduate training under teachers I'm still grateful to. Somewhere in those years, paediatric ENT quietly stopped being a subject and became the thing.
Aster Medcity, Cochin
Integral to building the ENT department at a then-new hospital. Steady clinical workload of 200+ OPD patients per week and 300+ surgeries across rhinology, otology, laryngology and airway. Trained in balloon sinuplasty and basic robotic surgery during this tenure.

Department of ENT & Head and Neck Surgery. Outpatient, inpatient and surgical care, with a deeper focus on paediatric work.
Sree Sudheendra Medical Mission COVID Field Hospital
One of the harder chapters. Led all medical operations at a 50-bed COVID Field Hospital, caring for 900+ patients over four months. Coordinating resources, writing safety protocols, leading the team through the worst of the pandemic. Still proud of what we pulled together.
Indira Gandhi Cooperative Hospital, Cochin
Full ENT surgical care for adults and children, with regular cross-department collaboration to make sure patients leave with one plan, not five conflicting ones.
Sree Sudheendra Medical Mission, Cochin
Beyond clinic, I now help run a 100-bedded hospital, strategy, operations, training, and the day-to-day decisions that quietly shape how patients are looked after. Led the end-to-end digitisation of OPD, IPD and medical records via an open-source HMIS, with measurable wins: optimised billing, 50%+ drop in pharmacy wait times, faster clinical handovers, and more nurse time freed up for actual patient care. Also led CSR-funded infrastructure upgrades that have visibly improved how the hospital looks and runs.
